I’m so sorry you still don’t feel well. I think some of the other steps I’ve taken have helped such as going gluten free and reducing environmental toxins. Just taking the medicine didn’t leave me feeling better all on it’s own either. It’s a journey for sure. I have hope you can find healing someday.

I still take the levothyroxine but I still feel like nothing seems to work and I’m always feeling down and all the symptoms above that you have. Open for one day to feel normal.

You’ve inspired me to think twice about myself. I didn’t even realize how poorly I’d treat myself or the negative thoughts that I allowed to have a loud voice.
You are a blessing to me!
Prayers for you ?

Thank you. I probably wouldn’t have ever made a dietary change without the guidance from my RD. She provided the research I needed to make the change. I’m glad I was open to it because I have begun to make some progress with pain management. I wish the same for you!

I understand how you feel, Becky. My legs have been so swollen and uncomfortable, too. I would highly recommend finding a functional med doctor to help you with possible dietary changes, or a registered dietitian who specializes in thyroid health. Lindsay O’Reilly, my RD, does see patients virtually if you need a resource! You aren’t alone in this, none of us are! We just have to start talking about it, and as I do with everything, I intend to use my story to help others.

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve developed other diseases. There are many people here in KC who can help, we just have to find them! Lindsay O’Reilly is who I started with and she’s been a great resource!

I’ve heard of her but haven’t bought her books yet, I hope to do so soon! I’m a sponge for information right now! Thank you!
